Good morning {{First name}}!
If you use public transit to get around Greater Victoria, you may want to factor some extra time into your trips this week—talks between BC Transit and the union representing bus drivers and mechanics broke off on Friday.
With no agreement reached during mediation, the union plans to reinstate an overtime ban starting tomorrow, which could lead to service disruptions, delays, and cancellations.

October in Victoria is a month that earns its positive reputation. The stages fill up fast with ballet and opera, touring comedians and tribute acts, while the shorter days and cooler evenings make a good excuse to cozy up with a crowd somewhere warm.
There will be plenty of Halloween spirit woven through the calendar too, from drag spectaculars and puppet shows to a Studio 54 disco and a very spooky Nick Cave tribute.
Whatever draws you out, October has you covered.
