May 18 - Your local farmers market guide

Past week's biggest stories. Long weekend events. Springtime photos.

Good morning !

The Victoria Day long weekend is widely seen as the kickoff to the summer event season, and the many festivals and festivities happening around the region right now are helping this year's May Long live up to that reputation.

But today we're also rounding up events that will soon be happening every weekend: the many local farmers markets. Some of them are already up and running, while others will begin in the next few weeks.

We also have a one-stop shop breaking down the week's big stories for our Insider members.

As the weather warms up in Victoria, the city’s vibrant markets are beginning to open with lots of goodies to explore. Whether you're seeking organic produce, handcrafted goods, or just a lively atmosphere, these markets offer something for everyone.

Some of the region’s favourites are already open for the season—or never really shut down over the winter, like Moss Street Market—and there’s more to come when we hit June and July.

If you know of more markets or similar events that we can add to the list, please reply to this email with your suggestion.
